New Beginnings for The Garlic Poet
It comes with a heavy heart that we are delivering this news today. As you may have heard through the news or friends and family, our home at The Clarion Hotel & Conference Center is under new management. With this news and the impending expiration of our lease with the hotel, we felt a need to decide what the future holds for our company, and have decided not to renew our lease with the hotel.
We, at Metalaye, see this as a chance to pursue exciting other business opportunities in hospitality. We understand many of you loved the Grain + Verse Bottlehouse and The Garlic Poet Restaurant & Bar, and we want to thank you for being part of their awesome communities, trying their innovative locally-sourced food, and participating in their many events. You’ve helped tremendously in their 5 years of success and prosperity, and we’ve built many memories during those 5 years.
The following dates and times are when we’ll be officially be closed for business:
- Grain + Verse Bottlehouse will close on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 10:00 PM.
- The Garlic Poet Restaurant & Bar will close on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10:00 PM.
We want to thank you with our whole hearts for being part of our story, our community, and most of all part of our family through this era. Please visit us before the respective closing dates to savor your final tastes of GP/GVB.
On our final night of business, we will be hosting our Mad Elf Beer Dinner with Tröegs Independent Brewing. Don’t forget to get your tickets to be part of our final farewell at The Clarion Hotel & Conference Center.
The new Clarion Hotel & Conference Center is in great hands. The new owners plan on bringing in new food purveyors in the lease space, and intend on renovating a number of hotel rooms. We wish them all of the success possible.
Again, thank you for your patronage and support. It has been an outstanding 5 years and they wouldn’t have been the same without you. We’ve made a family while at The Clarion hotel, and without them, all of this wouldn’t have been possible, or as special as it has been. This is not the end; only a beginning. Metalaye Enterprises will continue to look for ways to bring responsibly locally-sourced food through interesting and innovative restaurant ideas.
